Re: Light Square / General

Could be. That explanation certainly makes sense. I'm hoping so save a few bucks on a LP2 once people start getting their LP3s. Though it seems shipping may be a little delayed at this point.

Re: Light Square / General

Weird to see used LP2s being sold on eBay at higher cost than on the Light Phone official store. Hope to see some activity in the trading post once folks start receiving their LP3s.

Awesome, it's nice to meet another Floridian. North, or South?

Lifelong South Floridian with family in the Caribbean and Western Europe. Been very blessed to see a lot of the Western hemisphere.

Heck yeah, please make a review for the community or something of the sort when you get one. I ...

Red Light Screen/Remove Blue Light

I saw the LPII (and any e-ink device) as a way to interact with technology without negatively impacting sleep. With the change to OLED on the LPIII, I'm assuming that won't be the case, but I'd love to be proved wrong. Saw a review mention that the LP team is able to turn off pixels on the OLED ...

Re: Good morning starshine, the earth says "Hello!"

I started observing when I use my phone the most... when I'm uncomfortable. Anxious in a new situation? Bored for a few minutes? Afraid I might miss out on something? Feeling lonely? The answer to any of those would be my phone. It was... suffocating once I figured that out. Everyone has to be ...

Re: As a person considering a LP

That sounds like a good idea. It doesn't hurt to try, and if it doesn't work, you can always sell it. When the LP3 adds those conveniences you're interested in, then maybe you could consider a switch.

I think a common tactic is to purchase an LPII as a main phone and using your old smartphone ...

As a person considering a LP

Hello, I wanted to introduce myself as someone who's been considering a LP since I first saw the LP2 a couple years ago.

It's fair to say that I'm properly addicted to my smartphone and the internet overall and am trying to move towards more lo-fi ways of interacting with technology. Just recently ...

The wiki could be "open sourced" using something like GitHub or Codeberg. Anyone willing can submit a change, but a reviewer (or group of reviewers) would have to approve changes before they're merged.
