The dazzling star, Ryusei!

Post by ShinRyusei »

Hello, it's me! Ryusei from the Discord, who's apparently a forum moderator!? :o

Maybe this intro post is a tad redundant, but I thought it'd be fun anyway. Maybe it could help give others an idea as to what to do as well.

I like anime/manga, mecha, tokusatsu, gaming, retro tech, self-hosting/networking, programming (soon), computers and linux, plus other things equally as nerdy! (I touch grass btw.)

Some of my favorite games and series are: the Mother franchise, Pokemon, Super Robot Wars, Blazblue, and Final Fantasy + Kingdom Hearts!

For shows: Fullmetal Alchemist, Bochi the Rock, and G Gundam!

My favorite movie is: A Silent Voice.

And my favorite current running manga are Dandadan and Kagurabachi.

I would post my Light Phone story, but it's a bit basic and simple, plus I'd rather know everyone else's interests instead. I hope we can all make a lovely community together. :D

Not as big on anime as you are, but a Silent Voice is definitely one of my favorite anime movies as well!

BTW discord wouldn't let me respond to the DM you sent me there for some reason, but I think this forum is a great idea. I'll have to learn how to use it though, I'm quite new to participating in forums.

Hell yeah, welcome to forum Spaceless! Maybe I can put you onto some good stuff, but I won't force it.

If you need help, feel free to ask around. BBCode can be a pain to those not used to it, but it shouldn't be too hard.

(While I've already chatted with you extensively,) Welcome Ryusei!

As a purveyor of anime, have you seen Mob Psycho 100? My absolute all time favorite work and a must-see for everyone, in my opinion.

What's your favorite piece of retro tech?

Oh hell yeah, I didn't even think of Mob! That was a super formative experience, I was his age when I watched it and I never felt more seen. I still need to watch Season 3, and rewatch the prior 2 seasons.

For my favorite piece of retro tech... I have no clue! I want to mess with more before I say that, but I looove all my old consoles. In terms of value, probably the PS2. Has so many good games, and it serves as a media player. I gotta trick mine out someday.
