To-do lists

Post by Gregwhates »

Would be really useful to have some form of simple checklists tool.

Perhaps the notes tool could have a tick boxes option

I was thinking it'd be just as simple to do something like this:

Task 1
Task 2
Task 3

Then, when you do a task, just add a tick to the right...

Task 1 X
Task 2
Task 3

But yeah a checkbox would be much simpler...

Some others have suggested that improvement happens to the current note taking tool to support a sync through something like Obsidian and support Markdown, I think this would support the light level To-Dos you are looking for.

Obsidian seems pretty high level ngl, even markdown seems like a bit much. I don't really see much point in Light's notes ecosystem expanding out of its barriers. I kinda prefer having a minimal notes app where I quickly jot things that doesn't connect to some greater notes ecosystem.

I do not think it needs to synce anywhere beyond the dashboard, and really does just need to be checkboxes and dates - perhaps just a different kind of calendar entry?
